925 Athletics
In late 2010 Resolution Church moved from Atlanta to Kennesaw to establish a missional ministry base at KSU and to focus on reaching and equipping athletes and artists to maximize their influence in society for the glory of God.
The name 925 comes from a passage in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 9:25.
"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; But we do it to get a crown that will last forever."
At the time that was written, Corinth actually hosted the largest competitive games in the world second only to the Olympics. Now, 2000 years later, our world is still heavily influenced by sports in every aspect of society. Our aim is to see athletes not only transformed by the gospel, but to see themselves as agents of transformation through the gospel on their team, campus and in the world.
