John 10:10 - “...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” - Jesus
John 17:3 - “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” - Jesus
1 John 5:12 - “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
This is not about us. This is not about our vision. This is not about church planting.
This is about JESUS CHRIST.
This is about God’s mission in the world.
Jesus Christ is the only hope of mankind to be reconciled into a relationship with our God and Creator. The only appropriate response to this truth is to live our lives in such a way the world takes note that “truly, this was the son of God.”
In our desire to obey Him, we recognize His final words before ascending into heaven tell us not to keep this good news to ourselves, but to go and tell everyone how they can be reconciled to God and find life in Christ. Scripture is clear, true life only comes from a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
Simply put, that means that it is the sacred task of every follower of Christ to be engaged in the mission of pointing people far from God to true life in Christ.
That's why we say our mission is to Point people to Life.
What's in a name? The meaning of the word "resolution" is:
- The act of solving a problem
- A firm determination to do a thing
- Taking a complex idea & making it simple
Jesus Christ is the only answer to every need, problem and issue in our lives and in our culture. We are resolved to see Atlanta transformed as we live as missionaries to our city, employing a simple strategy:
Reach > Equip > Send
